I know that the opener and Sunday produced some nice lookin limits of king's.I was there @ around noon or so on Sunday during the Memorial day parade and saw that the charters where in with limits.My question is how far out did they have to go to get them.Any help would be awesome and appreciated.I'm lookin forward to this weekend.Looks like some great weather for some ocean king fishin.Good luck & thanks for any info.

I am going out of Ilwaco with Coho Charters Friday 5am. I love the smell of diesel in the morning. It smells of ,...VICTORY. I love the sound of Crackers Chumming. God I love the Ocean!

A guy I work with said he was on a boat that went 20 miles out also.

for those of you going charter fishing out of westport,i would go with ken culver on the tequila too.he is the hardest working skipper out there by far.also rarely comes in without limits.scott

I can add that I've enjoyed several outings with Skipper Dave Camp on the Discovery over the last few years. Dave is friendly, very accomodating and a great skipper. His deck hands are always a pleasure to spend the day with too. The Discovery is a real nice boat and you won't go wrong with this charter either.

hmmm, I think I need to make a phone call...

Strike zone, what type of boat will you be in? I be out on sun and mon. Did real well last weekend. I'll be in a 20ft blue searay. See ya on the water.
